研究领域:
(1)新型高效发光材料的合成与发光性能的研究:
发光材料是一类非常重要的功能材料,在显示、照明、医疗诊断等领域起着十分重要的作用。新型高效发光材料的探索与发展,是一项具有前瞻性的重要研究课题,它的发现与应用将有力地推动信息显示与照明工业的发展。通过各种化学过程实现对发光材料的控制合成,研究材料的形成机理及光转换机理,弄清材料的形态结构与光转换性能的关系,有利于提高现有材料的光转换性能和发现一些有价值的新材料,对未来的显示、照明和人类健康都有着十分重要的意义。本研究结合目前国际发光材料的前沿与热点,设计与合成新型高效三基色节能灯、白光发光二极管(Light Emitting Diode,LED)、液晶显示(Liquid Crystal Display,LCD)、场发射显示(Field Emission Display,FED)等照明与显示用高效发光材料,研究其光谱特性与规律,发展具有我国自主知识产权新型高效发光材料及其制备技术,探索它们的应用特性,为新型高效发光材料的应用奠定良好的基础。
(2)太阳能光催化分解水制备氢气:
科学地利用太阳能光催化制氢是解决能源和环境问题的重要途径之一,目前受到日本、美国、欧洲国家等发达国家的高度重视。在过去的20多年中,光催化制氢主要集中在紫外光区。但在地面上,太阳光的紫外光部分仅占其整个光谱的4%左右,太阳能利用效率低,而潜在可用于制氢的光主要分布在可见光区,约占太阳光的43%,因此研究开发新型催化剂,提高光分解水的效率,并将催化剂对太阳光的响应拓展到500nm的可见区(太阳光的主要成分) 成为国内外研究的热点和关键。本研究将集中于:1)光催化的基础理论研究,如新型半导体光催化剂的设计和合成、半导体光吸收的性质、光生电荷与空穴有效分离的物理机制、光催化剂的化学稳定性、光催化分解水的反应机理、提高光催化量子效率的方法、激发态光催化材料结构与性能的关系、材料组成和晶体结构对光催化性能影响的规律等;2)设计和开发利用具有可见光响应的新型光催化材料,通过复合掺杂或插层等手段组装成复合催化材料,使催化材料达到光催化性质、光电转化性质、光敏性质的协同作用,以提高光解水的效率和对可见光的响应。
